Blood Orange Season again!

I just love this time of year - the sun is shining, the morning are crisp and my Blood Orange tree is at her beautiful best!! She is only  4 years old. At first we were worried that the tree had been mislabelled, but each year the red patches on the oranges skin increase in intensity, the red specks in the fruit become more obvious. There are still a few years to go to get to the deep blood colour in commercially grown fruit.
Her fruit is wonderful for fresh juice for breakfast.
