Why is it always so hot at sauce time?
I often find myself asking this question, "why is it always so hot just when you want to make sauce?" The answer is obvious! That's when tomatoes are at their best!
So after picking about 5 kgs of tomatoes from my vines today, I will get ready tomorrow to start making sauce. Unfortunately I need to visit Cospak, my jar manufacturer first, as despite having sufficient jars and bottles, I don't have enough lids :)
who know, maybe tomorrow will be cooler. Sigh!!
At least I will have tomato sauce back in stock by end of next week. And the tomato chutney I made last week is ready to go!
